Equal access to safety and justice for all women fleeing violence
Under UK law some women are prevented from being able to access safe housing such as women's refuges even if they are subjected to extreme physical and psychological abuse by their husband or family.
Many local authorities know about this problem but turn women away saying they can't help. Some want to help, but can't because the Government has not made funds available.

Everyone has equal rights. However, in practice gross violations against women are often ignored or even perpetuated because of entrenched discrimination.
